This one is for all you salsa enthusiasts out there! Of course, I'm talking music, not dip. Orquestra Bravo, a large salsa group from Indianapolis, is coming to the Canopy Club this Friday. The group is fronted by lead vocalist Stacie Sandoval, who has demonstrated her singing abilities all over the world. She is accompanied by a 10-piece band composed of a trapset and various other percussion instruments, bass, piano, a brass section, and a back-up vocalist. Each member brings a resumé of experience to the group, including previous performances with big-name national and international acts as well as extensive training in music theory. Expect a lively performance featuring fun, and technically solid, music. There is an $8 cover and the show begins at 9:00 PM.
