• First confirmations for 2009 Pygmalion Music Festival announced

Smile Politely has announced a second crop of 2009 Pygmalion Music Festival artists including locals Girls Next Door, Morgan Orion and Tractor Kings, as well as national acts Gentlemen Auction House and Lucero.

Wednesday's announcements includes the Horse's Ha, My Dear Alan Andrews, On Again Off Again and Scurvine.

Thursday's announcements include BLK JKS, Hathaways and Kilroy, et al.

Monday's announcements include Wavves, Marmoset, Cameron McGill, Angie Heaton, the Delta Kings and Sunset Stallion.

Tuesday's announcements include Low, Denison Witmer, Light Pollution, Ryan Groff, Good Night and Good Morning, and Golden Quality.

The site will be posting daily announcements concerning the festival in the upcoming week.

Don't forget, early bird tickets are still on sale for $55 for the Sept. 16-19 event at the 2009 Pygmalion Music Festival site.
