Satisfying the Finicky and the Foodies
Italian restaurant proves welcoming and delicious

The atmosphere ...
Amanda: A quaint Italian place. The seating area isn’t large, so the intimate environment is the perfect place for a first date .
Liz: I went in with reasonable expectations. The décor inside was pleasant and welcoming, giving the place a simple rustic feel to it.
The appetizer ...
Amanda: The pesto garlic cheese bread ($4.99) had the perfect blend of pesto, cheese and garlic on fresh-baked bread. I could have made a meal out of that alone.
Liz: After one bite, we were hooked. Garlic bread itself is pretty good, let alone with cheese, but add the pesto and it makes for one tasty appetizer.
Entrees ...
Amanda: I ordered the manicotti ($10.99) for a tasty main course. The ricotta and Parmesan cheese filling was delicious, and the sauce was the perfect blend of spices.
Liz: I ordered the Tortellini MezzaLuna ($11.99), their signature dish. It was stuffed with cheese and covered in a tomato cream sauce. The sauce was a little sweet for me, but I enjoyed it overall.
The dessert ...
Amanda: We split the tiramisu ($4.99), and I think I’m in love. It’s very rich, so it’s probably best to split it with someone, but I would definitely recommend it for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Liz: Even after being stuffed with all those carbs, I opted to order dessert anyway. It was creamy, sweet and a nice way to finish the meal.
Overall ...
Amanda: I studied abroad in Italy, so I am pretty picky about my Italian food, but MezzaLuna made the cut. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is delicious. I’ll definitely be returning soon.
Liz: With reasonable prices, friendly ambience and good food, the best part of the dining experience was all the leftovers I brought home. But, like any foodie knows, they didn’t make it to the next day.
