He's Just Not That Into You

The anticipated film that everyone is talking about is finally in theaters. The plot is about a group of people and their different situations with love. It tells the story of the process of dating and the responsibilities that come with being married. The men and women featured in the movie are interconnected as they all attempt to figure out the opposite sex.

The movie successfully reveals dating and marriage with all the hilarity and emotion that they possess. One character, Gigi, wishes that men would call her when they tell her that they will. Throughout the film, she has many unsuccessful encounters with men that are pretty amusing, yet sad.

However, do not be fooled, it is not just a “chick flick,” but the movie is for men as well. One man in the film battles with his conscience about having an affair. It is the perfect film for men and women to see and take a peek at the different and similar point of views of the opposite sex.

The movie is based on the best-selling book, He’s Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo. The book and the movie addresses the problems that many people have with dating and marriage. For example, if you’ve ever waited by the phone, wondering why a person hasn’t called yet and it’s been awhile, chances are that person just might not be that into you.

The film features an array of different stars such as Ben Affleck , Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Anniston. Drew Barrymore, who also stars in the film, is a producer of the movie. Whether you are single, in a relationship, a man, or a woman, this film is a must see. Especially if you have a hard time understanding when a person is into you and when a person is not into you.

Andy Herren says:
HELL YES!!! I loved this movie. I'm happy to see it got such a high rating.

Magdalena Wrona says:
Has anyone read the actual book? I haven't and I'm just wondering if the endings are the same in both. I mean I know tons of movies, most recently Australia, that are forced to change an ending in order to appeal to the "Hollywood happily ever after" motif & I'm wondering if the screenplay was tweaked in any major way to differ from the book.
