As finals are peering frighteningly on the horizon, the Digital Domain is revealing a couple feel-good tricks on everyone’s favorite method of procrastination, Facebook.
First and infinitely most entertaining is the pirate language filter, added last ‘talk like a pirate day’ to the language options. This feature is accessed by scrolling to the bottom of the page, finding language preferences on the left side of the screen and changing the option to English (pirate). My personal favorite is the changing of the status bar from “what’s on your mind?” to “what be troublin’ ye?”
Entering the infamous Konami Code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, B, A, enter) after logging into Facebook shines a lens flare on every scroll and click on the home screen. I couldn’t get the code to work in Firefox, but it worked just fine in Internet Explorer and Safari.
Give them a try and scrawl some notes on ye matey’s walls.
