Cirque du Soleil to present 7 performances of Alegría at Assembly Hall in March

Alegría, an internationally acclaimed production, will be present 7 performances at Assembly Hall on March 17-21. This production has entertained more than 10 million people worldwide since it’s 1994 world premiere in Montreal.

The Spanish word Alegría, meaning happiness, joy and jubilation, which reflect a vast and exciting cast of 55 performers and musicians from 17 countries. This performance showcases impressive acrobatics such as the Synchro Trapeze and Aerial High Bars, which aerialists fly 40 feet above the stage, that are absolutely breathtaking.

The Power Track, another show feature, is an amazing display of synchronized choreography and tumbling, as are the Russian Bars where artists perform daredevil somersaults and mid-air turns.
