Bob Nanna stops by WPGU

Local music hero plays a new song as well as a Hey Mercedes cover.

Thursday night at the Canopy Club for Pygmalion Music Festival 2009 was a treat. WPGU listeners were able to get an early preview of the night when local music hero Bob Nanna stopped by the studio to chat and play a few songs. He's known for his work with Friction, Braid, Hey Mercedes, The City On Film, and currently with Certain People I Know as well as playing in Owen's full band! Check out his acoustic versions of "Neverlasting" (Certain People I Know) and "Stay Six" (Hey Mercedes).

Oh, and side note... Bob passed (guitar in hand) by Joe Pug while walking in. It was awesome. They shook hands and introduced themselves and chatted for about 5 minutes. That Thursday was such a good day in my musical life.
