What We're Into
Black Moth Super Rainbow and DeVotchKa
Two equally off-kilter bands for your listening pleasure

Black Moth Super Rainbow
While BMSR is no newbie to the music scene, their music blooms in the spring and can be best appreciated on a warm sunny day - preferably in a field. Some songs sound like they dove out of a cartoon, and you can almost see the colors spinning during the tracks "I Am the Alphabet" and "Drippy Eye." Black Moth Super Rainbow delivers a fuzzy dream-like state through a blend of psychedelic and synth.
DeVotchKa
At first listen DeVotchKa could easily be a traveling family gypsy band and no one would know the difference. Singer Nick Urata's voice leans toward the mariachi side, as his fellow band members play every instrument from the sousaphone to the theremin. Their tracks have the same romantic feel as Beirut and enough eccentricity to be on a Wes Anderson soundtrack.

definitely. they opened for the flaming lips at Aragon last September. It was a cool live show because they had some trippy movie synced to their set.
