The “JRose Experience” is definitely one like no other. She's not only a junior here at the University's College of Fine and Applied Arts, but a strong combination of the girl next door meets a sheek ecleticist. This homegrown Illinois artist has been labeled as pop at its finest with a dash of old school punk flair. Both beautiful and a triple threat (singer, actress and dancer) . JRose is on the rise with the world at her feet and songs in her heart that are changing the world of pop, one success at a time.

Most people think that JRose (www.jrose.me) is just giggles and a smile, but they are mistaken. She has a wisdom and depth way beyond her years and creative concepts that rival any other pop artist. There is plenty of emotion and fire behind her smiling face and no one knows that better than Grammy Award winning producer Bradley Spalter (Bradley has produced such greats as Gladys Knight, Christina Milian, K-Ci & JoJo, Babyface and more) who is spearheading the “JRose Experience.” Spalter states, “with JRose in particular, the example our company is trying to set is that she can continue her education and still be a superstar . Education shouldn’t be sacrificed.” This message is one of many that JRose gets across in her current project.

One of the most exciting announcements that JRose heard this week is her newly released single “Beautiful” currently holds the #1 spot on Tween Pop Radio (www.tweenpopradio.com) . An online American Idol of sorts, fans from all around the country are voting and believes that her single is one of the hottest ones to date. All this and still working hard to complete her education here at the University. JRose is working daily to break stereotypes by showing students that acquiring an education while pursuing your career is more than possible.

William Middlebrooks, JRose’s manager and CEO of the Los Angeles based entertainment conglomerate, Farmer Middlebrooks Company and signed producer Bradley Spalter were asked if they were to write a book on JRose what would the title be? They laughed and agreed, it would be entitled “It Factor.” Middlebrooks stated, “an it factor is something that you can’t teach, it’s something that you either have or you don’t, JRose has the unique ability to connect with people.”

JRose’s current project definitely focuses on people and the issues that affects them. She explains “instead of always talking about happiness, bunnies, and rainbows, I want everyone out there to know that there are so many people who aren’t happy 100% of the time or even 50% of the time. People who’s lives aren’t going their way. I want them to know that they are not alone but have someone who cares.”

JRose is really passionate about the music she sings and pays keen attention to the lyrics she recites because she knows there’s someone out there who can relate. For those seeking to pursue a music career JRose leaves you with the following words, “don’t cross your boundaries, but go right up to that line to get what you want.”
