    Jay-Z, a multiple Grammy Award winner and one of the most talked about names in hip hop, will bring his upcoming tour to Champaign with a stop at Assembly Hall on Thursday, November 12 at 8 P.M. The forthcoming tour will make stops at a mix of college campus arenas and traditional markets, with a tour kickoff charity concert at Madison Square Garden on Friday, September 11.

    Tickets will go on-sale for students on Thursday, September 10 from 8 A.M. - 5 P.M. at Ticket Central in the Illini Union. The student discount will include a presale discount of $10 on $35 and $45 tickets and $5 off of the same tickets when the presale ends. There will be no discount on the highest-priced $75 tickets.

    The general public sale begins Friday, September 11 at 10 A.M. at the Assembly Hall box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.
