Love terrible food? Sucker for punishment? Here is this week’s lovingly compiled, top five worst meals on Green Street.
5. Pesto Tortellini Pizza at Antonio’s Pizza (619 E. Green St.) People want pizza. Or they want pasta. Maybe both, but not together. K.I.S.S.: Keep It Simple, Stupid.
4. Char Burger with everything at Big Mouth’s Dogs & Burgers (408 E. Green St.) Looking for something to settle your stomach after a night of drinking? These won’t help. Greasy and soggy and sloppy. On the bright side: With help from a loaded char burger, you can be purged and ready for a hangover-free morning after.
3. Anything with seafood at Chinese Express (39 E. Green St.) You’d be hard-pressed to expect great seafood anywhere in central Illinois. At Chinese Express, not-so-fresh fish has never been so apparent.
2. Chinese buffet at BoBo China (404 E. Green St.) With all the other meal choices on Green Street, BoBo’s buffet can’t be moving as quickly as we’d like. But who doesn’t love Chinese food that’s been sitting out for hours getting cold and accumulating dust? Our tip: stick to the menu!
1. $1 bag of gummy bears from Home Town Pantry (601 E. Green St.) We all know it’s been done. Let’s all try to make time in our busy schedules for some nutrition.

Seriously, how dare you insult the tortellini pizza at Antonio's? It's flipping delicious. If you think pasta and pizza is a bad combination, clearly you've never had the Mac Attack. We live in a society in which it's deemed acceptable to put pizza on a bagel and eat it anytime, and yet combining two delicious Italian cuisines is frowned upon? Give me a break.
Also, last time I checked, big ass burgers are allowed to be greasy and sloppy. As for the soggy, that's probably a side-product of sitting in a delivery bag. Try them fresh, and get yourself a deep-fried twinkie.
And stop alienating our beloved Green Street eateries!
